Almost a year after the first news at Let the Corpses Tan (aka Laissez Bronzer Les Cadavres), the official trailer has been released. Directing this thriller-horror we find Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani, authors of Amer and Tears of blood (L'étrange couleur des larmes de ton corps). Anche questa volta il duo omaggia la cinematografia italiana degli anni '70, in particolare il genere giallo ma in chiave neo-western.
Let the Corpses Tan (France, Belgium - 2017) is the film adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Jean-Pierre Bastid in 1971.
For the story's protagonists, the Mediterranean summer is characterized not only by blue sea and scorching sun but also by 250 kilograms of gold. The loot, stolen by Rhino and his gang, is then hidden in an abandoned village run by a woman. The arrival of unwanted guests, including two policemen, will turn that idyllic place into a battleground.
They are part of the cast of Let the Corpses Tan: Elina Löwensohn, Stéphane Ferrara, Bernie Bonvoisin, Michelangelo Marchese, Marc Barbé, Hervé Sogne, Marine Sainsily, Pierre Nisse, Dorylia Calmel, Dominique Troyes, Aline Stevens, and Bamba Forzani Ndiaye.
The film will be released in U.S. theaters on August 31 with Kino Lorber.
