Ahead of this month's premiere at London's Horror Channel FrightFest, the official trailer for Let Her Out, the new film directed by Cody Calahan (Antisocial, Antisocial 2) and written by Adam Seybold.
Let Her Out is a psychological thriller that will be distributed by Black Fawn Films, a Canadian label founded by producer and director Chad Archibald (The Drownsman, Ejecta, Bite), in collaboration with Breakthrough Entertainment and United Front Entertainment.
In Let Her Out The story touches on topics such as cancer and vanishing twin syndrome. The protagonist is Helen (Alanna LeVierge), a girl who, following an accident, begins to suffer from unexplained and sudden memory lapses accompanied by hallucinations. She later discovers that these symptoms are caused by a benign tumor, but what disturbs her most is a terrible and macabre truth about the nature of her illness. The sarcoma is actually what remains of her twin sister, whose fetal tissue was absorbed by Helen during her mother's pregnancy (vanishing twin syndrome).
Now the lost twin, who has always lived in the shadows, wants to break free from that cage of flesh and bones.
The cast includes Alanna LeVierge, Nina Kiri, Adam Christie, Kate Fenton, Michael Lipka, Brooke Henderson, Glen Reid, and Deborah Jayne Reilly Smith.
The film is produced by Chad Archibald, Cody Calahan, and Christopher Giroux.
Jeff Maher is the co-producer and director of photography.
