Yesterday, the official poster of Let Her Out, the new film from Black Fawn Films, a Canadian label founded by producer and director Chad Archibald (The Drownsman, Ejecta, Bite). Directing it is Cody Calahan (Antisocial, Antisocial 2) on a script edited by Adam Seybold.
Objective of the authors of Let Her Out is to haunt and chill the audience by encroaching on themes such as cancer and evanescent twin syndrome and placing them in a chilling context.
The film tells the story of Helen, a girl who suffers from unexplained and sudden memory lapses accompanied by hallucinations. Causing these symptoms is a tumor, but most disconcerting to her is an excruciating and mabacious truth concerning the nature of her illness. The sarcoma is actually what remains of her twin sister whose fetal tissue was absorbed by Helen during her mother's pregnancy (missing twin syndrome). Now the lost twin, who has lived in the shadows for too long, longs to come out of that cage of flesh and bone.
The cast includes Alanna LeVierge, Nina Kiri and Adam Christie.
The film is produced by Chad Archibald, Cody Calahan and Christopher Giroux. Jeff Maher is the co-producer as well as the director of photography.
The film is a Black Fawn Films product in collaboration with Breakthrough Entertainment.
