L'attore statunitense Raphael Sbarge (L'alieno 2, Independence Day, Pearl Harbor) ha raggiunto il cast di The Exorcist, the new horror film by David Gordon Green, author of the trilogy devoted to Michal Myers (Halloween, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends).
Raphael Sbarge interpreterà un prete e affiancherà i già confermati Olivia Marcum, Lidya Jewett (Nightbooks – Racconti di paura), Leslie Odom Jr., Ann Dowd (Hereditary) ed Ellen Burstyn (quest'ultima nuovamente nel ruolo della madre di Regan, personaggio da lei già interpretato nel film di William Friedkin).
Targeted Universal/Blumhouse, The Exorcist is the first chapter of a trilogy sequel to The Exorcist (1973), a film based on William Peter Blatty's novel of the same name, and will arrive in U.S. theaters on Oct. 13, 2023.
The screenplay for the film is by Peter Sattler and Scott Teems.
