According to Above the Line, Linda Blair is involved in The Exorcist by David Gordon Green. Based on the novel of the same name by William Peter Blatty, the film is the first chapter in a trilogy of sequels to The Exorcist (1973).
American actress Linda Blair, who played Regan MacNeil in the saga The Exorcist Launched by William Friedkin in 1973, she would only be working on the set of David Gordon Green's film for a few days.
A spokesperson for Blumhouse added that the actress had a consulting role, without confirming whether or not she will appear in a cameo in the feature film, which is set to hit US theaters on October 13, 2023.
Targeted Universal/Blumhouse, The Exorcist is the new horror film by David Gordon Green, author of the recent saga Halloween dedicated to Michal Myers (Halloween, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends).
