Revealed the Italian poster of Leatherface, the prequel to Don't open that door (1974). Written by Seth M. Sherwood, Leatherface is directed by the celebrated French duo of Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, the directors of Inside and Livid. Italian horrorphiles will have the chance to see the world premiere of this new chapter in the franchise The Texas Chainsaw Massacre as the film will debut in Italian theaters on Sept. 14, ahead of the U.S. date (Oct. 20).

Plot: In Texas, the sheriff's daughter (Stephen Dorff) loses her life in an accident that makes the police suspicious. The Sawyers' minor son is blamed for her tragic death, which is why he is committed to a mental health hospital. Ten years later, the young man kidnaps a nurse (Vanessa Grasse) and escapes from the hospital facility with three other patients. Pursued by the authorities and the sheriff who lost his daughter, the former inmate will slowly turn into an unscrupulous monster.
