M2 Pictures has revealed the official Italian trailer for Leatherface, l'horror che fa luce sulle origini di Faccia di cuoio, l'iconico personaggio del celebre franchise The Texas Chainsaw Massacre whose first chapter is Don't open that door (1974) by Tobe Hooper. Leatherface is written by Seth M. Sherwood while it is directed by Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, the directors of Inside and Livid.
This new chapter in the saga will make its world premiere in Italian theaters on September 14, 2017, with M2 Pictures.
Trama: in Texas, la figlia dello sceriffo (Stephen Dorff) muore tragicamente in un incidente. La causa della morte non convince la polizia e i sospetti cadono sul figlio minorenne dei Sawyer, motivo per cui il ragazzo viene rinchiuso in un ospedale psichiatrico. Dieci anni dopo, il giovane rapisce un’infermiera (Vanessa Grasse) ed evade dal centro di igiene mentale insieme ad altri tre pazienti. Perseguitato dalle autorità e dallo sceriffo accecato dall'odio per la morte della figlia, l’ex internato si trasformerà , nel tempo, in uno spietato assassino.
