Last Night in Soho: new release date for Edgar Wright's film

The psychological horror Last Night in Soho will debut in U.S. theaters on April 21, 2021 with Focus Features. According to what the director himself revealed on his Twitter profile, the delay related to the release date (initially set for September 25, 2020), is due to post-production problems caused by the pandemic.
Directed by Edgar Wright (Dawn of the Demented Dead, Hot Fuzz), Last Night in Soho stars Thomasin McKenzie (The Hobbit - The Battle of the Five Armies) and Anya Taylor-Joy (The VVitch, Glass).

The story is set in the 1960s, in the London neighborhood of Soho. Haunted by the era in which she lives, Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie) forges an unusual relationship with Sandy (Anya Taylor-Joy) in order to experience with her that period of history she so loved.

The screenplay for the film is by Edgar Wright in collaboration with Krysty Wilson-Cairns (Penny Dreadful). Among the sources of inspiration, the director cited. In Venice... a shocking red December by Nicolas Roeg and Repulsion by Roman Polanski.
Terrance Stamp (Superman) and Matt Smith (Patient Zero) are also part of the cast.
