La storia è ambientata negli anni '60, nel quartiere londinese di Soho. Ossessionata dall’epoca in cui vive, Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie) stringerà un’insolita relazione con Sandy (Anya Taylor-Joy) per vivere insieme a lei quel periodo storico da lei tanto amato.
Edgar Wright also co-wrote the film's screenplay with Krysty Wilson-Cairns (Penny Dreadful), and among the sources of inspiration he cited In Venice... a shocking red December by Nicolas Roeg and Repulsion by Roman Polanski.
The cast also includes Terrance Stamp (Superman) and Matt Smith (Patient Zero).
