Lamb: new image of human-animal hybrid horror film starring Noomi Rapace

Online a new image of Lamb (Iceland, Poland, Sweden - 2021), the surreal "biblical" horror film about the human-animal hybrid that marks the directorial debut of Iceland's Valdimar Jóhannsson.
Played by Noomi Rapace (Men Who Hate Women, Prometheus), Lamb was presented out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival 2021 and will be released in U.S. theaters on October 8, 2021 by A24.

The story of Lamb sheds light on the lives of Maria (Noomi Rapace) and Ingvar (Hilmir Snær Guðnason), a childless couple living in rural Iceland. On Christmas Eve, at their sheep farm the two find an infant who is half human and half lamb. Long eager to have a child, the couple decide to care for the hybrid creature and raise it as if it were their own child, without thinking too much about the consequences.
Initially, in the lives of the two adults the unexpected and mysterious gift will bring joy and hope only to unleash a series of nefarious consequences.

In addition to Noomi Rapace, the cast also includes Hilmir Snær Guðnason, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson and Ester Bibi.
