In questi giorni il regista e sceneggiatore Fede Alvarez (La casa - remake, Man in the Dark) ha annunciato di aver completato la stesura del copione del suo prossimo progetto: Labyrinth 2, the sequel to the 1986 film starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie. Alvarez hinted at the script during a tour promoting his latest film work (Millennium - Quello che non uccide).
Labyrinth 2 dunque si farà e la storia sarà una continuazione (a distanza di più di trent'anni) dei fatti trattati nella favola dark del 1986 diretta da Jim Henson, noto anche per essere stato l'inventore dei Muppet.
Duncan Jones, David Bowie's son, appears in the project as a producer. Fede Alvarez co-wrote the script for the sequel with Jay Basu and is also currently working on the sequel to Man in the Dark (aka Don't Breathe).
Labyrinth - Dove tutto è possibile (1986) tells the story of Sarah (Jennifer Connelly), a 16-year-old girl who, following her wish, has 13 hours to find her little brother Toby. Kidnapped by Jareth (David Bowie), the Goblin King, the child finds himself in a maze that is very difficult to navigate.
