L'horror finlandese Kyrsyä - Tuftland e l'horror corale Phobia saranno presentati da EuroObscura all'American Film Market (dal 1° all'8 novembre), il tradizionale mercato del cinema mondiale che si tiene ogni anno a Santa Monica, in California.
Kyrsyä - Tuftland is written and directed by actor Roope Olenius (Bunny the Killer Thing), here in his directorial debut. The film spans multiple genres (thriller, mystery, and horror) and pays homage to such films as Rosemary's Baby and The Wicker Man. Also framing the story (which does not lack a dash of black humor) are the beautiful Scandinavian landscapes.
In Kyrsyä - Tuftland, Irina (Veera W. Vilo) accepts a summer job at an isolated village in Kyrsyä. Here the vast Finnish forest will slowly begin to reveal its true nature to the young student.

Kyrsyä - Tuftland is produced by Bright Fame Pictures in collaboration with Tapahtumatuotanto Kolmas Pyörä and Hiski Show.
Phobia is an anthology horror film about phobias. The film involves 15 international directors who, in their episode, treated and developed 14 unusual and peculiar psychopathological manifestations with originality.
The film (here is our review) is produced by Tony Newton's Vestra Pictures in collaboration with Domiziano Cristopharo's The Enchanted Architect and Sam Mason Bell's Trash Arts.
