Universal has released, online, the official Italian trailer for Knock on the door (aka Knock at the Cabin), the new horror film directed by M. Night Shyamalan (The Village, And the Day Came, Split, Old).
The movie is the film adaptation of the novel The house at the end of the world (The Cabin at the End of the World) by Paul Tremblay and will debut in U.S. theaters on February 3, 2023.
The Italian release date has not yet been announced.
Plot: While spending a vacation in remote cabin in the middle of the woods, a little girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to prevent the Apocalypse. Over the next few hours, in a crescendo of apocalyptic portents, paranoia, madness, fear and rituals, the family will find themselves having to decide what to believe before all is lost.
In the cast of Knock on the door starring Ben Aldridge (The Titan), Jonathan Groff (Matrix Resurrections), Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead), Rupert Grint and Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old).
M. Night Shyamalan, in addition to directing, also handled the screenplay and production of the film, the shooting of which was completed last June.
