Started filming of Knock at the Cabin, the new horror film produced by Universal and directed by M. Night Shyamalan (The Village, And the Day Came, Split, Old). Announcing it in a Tweet was the director himself.
Knock at the Cabin will debut in U.S. theaters on Feb. 3, 2023, and at the moment, the plot and further details have not yet been revealed.
The cast includes Ben Aldridge (The Titan), Jonathan Groff (Matrix Resurrections), Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead), Rupert Grint and Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old).
M. Night Shyamalan, in addition to directing, also handled the screenplay and production of the film.
Recall that in 2021 M. Night Shyamalan wrote and directed the horror film Old for Universal. The film is the film adaptation of the graphic novel Sand castle (Château de sable) by Pierre-Oscar Levy and grossed a total of $90 million worldwide.
The story of Old takes place on a mysterious tropical island that has the power to rapidly age vacationers, drastically shortening their lifespan.
