With a message on Twitter, Universal announced the new film by M. Night Shyamalan, the director of The Village, And the day came, The Visit and who recently wrote and directed Old (2021), horror film about a mysterious tropical island that has the power to rapidly age vacationers, drastically shortening their lifespan.
M. Night Shyamalan's new film already has a title and even a release date. According to what was revealed by Universal (the distribution company with which he collaborated on The Visit, Split, Glass, and Old), the Indian director and screenwriter announced via Twitter that his project, currently being written, is the thriller Knock at the Cabin and will debut in US theaters on February 3, 2023.
Recall that in September, M. Night Shyamalan posted on Instagram a photo of a script in which he announced his next project, which, in those days, was in its third draft and numbered a hundred pages. In the image it was not possible to read the title, which surely is the one announced these days.
At present, the plot and further details have not yet been revealed.
