In 2007 Rigoberto CastaƱeda directed. km. 31, a film in the horror genre, indebted to Japanese horror films and telling the story of two twin sisters who are able to communicate with each other by the power of thought alone. When one of them goes into a coma due to an accident caused by a spectre at Km. 31, her sister relives her pain and tries to find out the truth about what happened.
A full eight years later, the same director is directing the sequel, Km. 31: Sin Retorno (Messico - 2015) di cui ĆØ giĆ disponibile un trailer d'effetto.
The cast includes Ileana Fox, who played the comatose girl in the previous chapter, and also Carlos Aragón, the detective who in km. 31 era impegnato a condurre un'indagine sulle morti sospette avvenute lungo un preciso tratto di strada, il Km. 31. Ai due attori si aggiungono anche Adrià Collado, Odin Ayala, Italo Londero, Hector Illanes e Danina Moguel.
In the sequel, Detective Ugalde will investigate a series of child abductions and contact a young mother who cannot cope with the loss of her child.
Km. 31: Sin Retorno will see the light of day in Mexico next October.
