In charge of the meat section of the Asian Grocery Store Uwajimaya, this Washington boy uses to delight his customers more with his ground beef sculptures than with the flavor of his butchered meats.
Convinced anti-vegan, Kieran Gormley offers daily to his customers real artistic artifacts made from minced meat, boiled eggs and various vegetables, all of which can be purchased from the refrigerated counter where they are displayed.
Uwajimaya in Washington is thus the perfect supermarket for those who adore meat and the horror genre. Among Gormley's achievements we can find bats, giant tarantulas, snakes but also well-known characters from genre iconography such as Alien, Dracula, and Frankenstein.
There is something for everyone, with a focus on the little ones who can also find heroes from their favorite cartoons and comic books. Kieran Gormley's ephemeral art is primarily concerned with mythology, horror and fantasy without skimping on science fiction.
