KadaverFicker - The Movie è un film documentario (definito un “Nekrokore Action Documentary”) sulla band tedesca Kadaverficker. Il film è stato distribuito recentemente da Black Lava Entertainment (in collaborazione con Splatter Zombie Records Genre) in edizione slipcase con allettante custodia cartonata e in versione limitata di sole 500 copie numerate a mano. Impeccabile come al solito l'edizione che dimostra ancora una volta la cura che la label austriaca riversa sui suoi articoli, curandone i dettagli e prestando molta attenzione all'artwork (anche in questo caso davvero strepitoso), alle specifiche del DVD e agli extra.
It should be premised that this time it is not a horror film but a music documentary that traces the glories of the German band devoted to a highly contaminated death metal, among whose most pronounced matrices grindcore crops up. Imprinted on mockumentary, Kadaverficker - The movie è in realtà molto confusionario e grottesco, rispecchiando così in pieno l'immagine del gruppo musicale in questione. Nel film è stato dato spazio alle interviste ai componenti della band, intervallate da spezzoni dei loro concerti. Il tutto, anche se in modo raffazzonato, caotico e privo di logica, tenta di ripercorrere la storia e l'evoluzione dei KadaverFicker.
Attivo sin dal 1993, il quartetto di Dortmund ha firmato decine di pubblicazioni tra album studio, live, demo e split. Avevamo già avuto modo di parlarne in occasione dell'uscita di Snuff Tape Anthology by El Gore (also published by Black Lava), a gore anthology in which the musical fury of the aforementioned group is well noted, blending with the heinous and disgusting scenes of the German director's shorts.
Plot: At the end of the 20th century, in a period of decadence, a new band, Kadaverficker, was founded. The band, a symbol of bad taste, will immediately leave its mark through brutal music (Sludge/Death Metal/Grindcore), performing on the stages of Europe and giving interviews.
KadaverFicker - The Movie è una chicca per i fan del gruppo teutonico che con questo potranno arricchire la loro cultura sulla band ma è allo stesso tempo una release "chiusa", difficilmente appetibile per quanti invece cercano un prodotto cinematografico destinato all'intrattenimento e che magari sono lontani dai cliché musicali in questione.
