The month of July is poor in horror releases. In fact, in Italian theaters, apart from the thriller Black Butterfly con Antonio Banderas, saranno proiettati l'horror Wish Upon (July 13) and the monster movie Shin Godzilla (July 3), reboot and 31st film in the saga Godzilla Dedicated to the famous kaijū.

Exclusively on days July 3, 4 and 5, in Italian cinemas will be screened Shin Godzilla (aka Godzilla Resurgence), a sci-fi action/horror written and directed by Japanese director Hideaki Anno. Shinji Higuchi, who was also in charge of special effects, also co-directed.
Plot of Shin Godzilla (Giappone - 2016): il Giappone precipita nel caos a seguito della comparsa di una gigantesca creatura che, dopo aver creato scompiglio in mare, raggiunge anche la terraferma seminando morte e distruggendo tutto ciò che intralcia il suo cammino. Il governo cercherà di fermare Godzilla con una strategia militare ma non sarà semplice poiché tutti gli attacchi si riveleranno inefficaci sull'inarrestabile mostro.

Wish Upon (USA - 2017) will debut in Italian theaters on. July 13.
This horror film about the devilish music box is directed by John R. Leonetti, the director of Annabelle and is played by Joey King (The Conjuring).
Plot of Wish Upon: Clare Shannon (Joey King) è un’adolescente che non ha ancora superato la perdita della madre. Timida e introversa, la ragazza vive con un padre ossessivo, è vittima di bullismo ed è innamorata del ragazzo sbagliato. Un vecchio carillon regalatole dal genitore cambierà la sua vita. L'oggetto infatti è in grado di realizzare sette desideri a chi lo possiede e Clare, incurante delle conseguenze, lo sfrutterà per vendicarsi dei suoi nemici.
