Diretto da Jason Zada (Take This Lollipop) on a screenplay by Nick Antosca, Sarah Cornwell and Ben Keta, Jukai - The Forest of Suicides Will arrive in Italian theaters Sept. 28 thanks to Midnight Factory.
The film's story centers on Aokigahara (or Jukai), the forest located at the northwestern base of Mount Fuji in Japan and known to be a location where many people have taken their own lives.
In Jukai - The Forest of Suicides Natalie Dormer plays Sara, an American girl who, following the disappearance of her twin sister, reaches the Aokigahara Forest to search for her. Once there, the young woman will have to confront the tormented and angry souls who inhabit it.
