After the full italian trailer released yesterday, Warner Bros. has released three new posters (including an Italian one) of Joker, the cinecomic that will arrive in Italian theaters on October 3, 2019.
Directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover), Joker Is played by Joaquin Phoenix.
Joker will be banned for unaccompanied minors. In fact, the cinecomic received an "R" rating for "disturbing behavior, blood, extreme violence and sexual imagery."
Based on the DC Comics comic book character of the same name, Joker moves away from the DC cinematic universe. In fact, the film enjoys an original story and presents an in-depth study of the disturbed Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man who will find himself relegated to the margins of a violent society during the 1980s in Gotham City.
In the cast of Joker there are Joaquin Phoenix (The Gladiator, Quills - The Scandal Pen, The Master), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Frances Conroy (American Horror Story), Brett Cullen (Narcos), Douglas Hodge (Penny Dreadful), Bill Camp, Josh Pais and Shea Whigham.
Recall that, in Todd Phillips' film, Joaquin Phoenix will be voiced by Italian actor Adriano Giannini.
The screenplay was written by the director himself in collaboration with Scott Silver (The Fighter).
Joker is produced by Todd Phillips and Bradley Cooper (with their Joint Effort) along with Emma Tillinger Koskoff. Richard Baratta, Joseph Garner and Bruce Berman, on the other hand, are the executive producers.
