He is currently in crowdfunding (on the Indiegogo platform) Johnny Z, the new horror project by Jonathan Straiton, the screenwriter and director of the outstanding comedy-horror Night of Something Strange (link to review).
Presented as a cross between Land of the Dead (2005) e The Raid (2011), Johnny Z is an action/horror film whose story centers on Johnny, a half-zombie, half-human creature who, under the guidance of a martial arts master, will seek revenge on those who created him.
Johnny Z is produced in part ($15,000) by Black Mandala (Inbred, What the Waters Left Behind), a production company that will also handle worldwide distribution of the film. Numerous perks have been earmarked for the project's supporters whose set goal is as many $15,000.
The screenplay of Johnny Z is by Jonathan Straiton and Ron Bonk (She Kills). Also appearing in the film will be part of the cast of Night of Something Strange namely Michael Merchant, Trey Harrison and Wayne W. Johnson. They were joined by Felix Cortes.
