Lionsgate has released the first official trailer for Jigsaw, l'ottavo capitolo della celebre saga Saw created by James Wan and Leigh Whannell. Jigsaw comes seven years later Saw 3D - The Final Chapter (2010) and will debut in U.S. theaters on October 27, 2017.
Directing it is the duo of Michael and Peter Spierig, the directors of Daybreakers while the screenplay was written by Pete Goldfinger in collaboration with Josh Stolberg (Piranha 3D, Sorority Row).
Tobin Bell (Jigsaw) also appears in the cast, joined by Laura Vandervoort, Hannah Anderson, Brittany Allen (It stains the Sands Red), Mandela Van Peebles, Callum Keith Rennie, James Gomez, Matt Passmore, Michael Bolsvert, Josiah Black and Shaquan Lewis.
Trama: in città continuano ancora a spuntare cadaveri. Le indagini su questi atroci delitti, tutti eseguiti in modi differenti e unici, portano la polizia sulla pista di John Kramer, un killer spietato che però è morto ormai da dieci anni. Il risultato delle ricerche è dunque inconcepibile a meno che qualcuno non stia copiando il modus operandi dell'uomo defunto.
