Lionsgate has released the Japanese poster for Jigsaw, l'ottavo capitolo del noto franchise Saw. Directed by Michael and Peter Spierig (Daybreakers) on a script involving Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg (Piranha 3D, Sorority Row), the film will debut in U.S. theaters on October 27, 2017. The Italian date, on the other hand, is scheduled for October 31, just in time for Halloween.
Plot: Martyred corpses are found in the city. The investigation of these heinous crimes, all carried out in different and unique ways, leads strangely to the trail of John Kramer, a ruthless killer who has been dead for ten years now. For the police, the result of the search is therefore inconceivable unless it is a copycat. Complicating the already convoluted situation will be the discovery of audio recordings of John Kramer at each crime scene.
Jigsaw segna il ritorno, nel cast, di Tobin Bell, ormai divenuto l'icona della saga creata da James Wan e Leigh Whannell e il cui primo capitolo risale al 2004.
