The third installment of the franchise was announced a few days ago. Jeepers Creepers thanks to the Myriad Pictures production company. It will again be directed by Victor Salva (Clownhouse, Powder, Dark House), director and screenwriter of the first two films in the saga (Jeepers Creepers - The Devil's Song and Jeepers Creepers - The Devil's Song 2) directed in 2001 and 2003, respectively.
Victor Salva himself promises a chapter that, in addition to being terrifying, will clarify some points about the creature (Creeper) and, specifically, serve to shed light on its origins. The story will reconnect 20 years after the events that occurred in the first two chapters and will see Sergeant Davis Tubbs (Brandon Smith), busy assembling a task force to eliminate the Creeper (to be played again by Jonathan Beck).
The film, tentatively titled Jeepers Creepers 3: The Creeper Walks Among Us, will probably see a distribution for the home video market only, and filming will begin in early 2016. Francis Ford Coppola, the producer of the first two chapters, will also produce the third segment along with Kirk Shaw.
