The third installment of the franchise was announced a few days ago. Jeepers Creepers thanks to the Myriad Pictures production company. It will again be directed by Victor Salva (Clownhouse, Powder, Dark House), director and screenwriter of the first two films in the saga (Jeepers Creepers - Il canto del Diavolo and Jeepers Creepers - Il canto dei Diavolo 2) directed in 2001 and 2003, respectively.
Lo stesso Victor Salva promette un capitolo che, oltre ad essere terrificante, chiarirà alcuni punti sulla creatura (Creeper) e, precisamente, servirà a fare luce sulle sue origini. La storia si ricollega vent'anni dopo i fatti accaduti nei primi due capitoli e vedrà il sergente Davis Tubbs (Brandon Smith), impegnato a riunire una task force per eliminare il Creeper (che sarà interpretato nuovamente da Jonathan Beck).
The film, tentatively titled Jeepers Creepers 3: The Creeper Walks Among Us, will probably see a distribution for the home video market only, and filming will begin in early 2016. Francis Ford Coppola, the producer of the first two chapters, will also produce the third segment along with Kirk Shaw.
