January 15: 28 years later: The Bone Temple
The post-apocalyptic horror 28 years later: The Bone Temple It is the second chapter in the trilogy that began last year with Danny Boyle's (Trainspotting) 28 Weeks Later.
The film is directed by Nia DaCosta, who maintains narrative continuity thanks to the screenplay by Alex Garland, the screenwriter of three other films in the saga (28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, and 28 Years Later).
The film will be released in theaters on January 15 by Eagle Pictures.

January 22: Return to Silent Hill
Return to Silent Hill, the third installment in the film series Silent Hill based on the famous survival horror video game series produced by Konami.
The film is the movie adaptation of the second video game (Silent Hill 2) and will be released in Italian theaters on January 22 with Midnight Factory.
Written and directed by Christophe Gans, the director of the first film (2006), Return to Silent Hill stars Jeremy Irvine (The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death), Hannah Emily Anderson (Saw: Legacy) and Robert Strange (Jack in the Box, Marrowbone).
Plot: When a letter leads him back to Silent Hill in search of his lost love, James finds a town that has been completely transformed, inhabited by monsters that make him question his own sanity.

January 29: Send Help
Distributed by 20th Century Fox, it hits theaters on January 29. Send Help, the new horror film directed by Sam Raimi, the famous American director known for the horror trilogy Evil Dead.

Written and directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City), the horror film about the killer chimpanzee Ben - Animal Rage (Primate) will be released in theaters on January 29 by Eagle Pictures.
The screenplay was written by Johannes Roberts himself in collaboration with Ernest Riera.
Plot: Lucy is the eldest daughter of a wealthy American family living in a villa in Hawaii. When she returns home from college with her friends, waiting for her are her younger sister, her father, and Ben, a pet chimpanzee raised like a son and trained since he was a baby to communicate using sign language.
