Written by Domitian Christopharo (Nightmare Symphony), Jack the St. Ripper is directed by George Nevada, the director of the sci-fi body horror Scarecrowd.
Jack the St. Ripper is a slasher that pays homage to the giallo genre (particularly the filmography of Dario Argento) and also to other cult films of the past such as Carrie - The Look of Satan.
The protagonist of the story is Jack (Alexio Cohen), a young man who enrolls in a stripper class. His presence immediately creates havoc and envy among his colleagues because of whom he loses his chance for a well-paid job. Months later, his rivals begin to die one after another, and suspicion will inevitably fall on Jack.
In addition to Alexio Cohen, the cast also includes Cleverson Rodrigues (P.O.E. 4: The Black Cat), Chiara Pavoni (Xpiation), Francesco Giannotti, Mark Thompson Ashworth and three actors from Scarecrowd: Frances Williams, Antony Ferry and Gabrielle Bergere.
