The first trailer for Jack the St. Ripper (aka Jack the Stripper), l'horror che vede nuovamente in cabina di regia l’italo americano George Nevada, qui al suo secondo lungometraggio dopo aver diretto Scarecrowd (USA - 2015). Oltre al trailer alleghiamo anche il nuovo poster del film.
Prodotto da "The Enchanted Architect" di Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins, Bloody Sin, Red Krokodil) in collaborazione con "Melting Pictures" di George Nevada, Jack the St. Ripper has been described as a "Troma-style splatter" in which homages to the giallo genre, particularly the filmography of Dario Argento, converge, not leaving out citations to more recent cinematic works such as It Follows.
In Jack The St. Ripper appears part of the cast and crew of Scarecrowd: actors Frances Williams, Antony Ferry and Gabrielle Bergere and composer Antony Coia (Extreme Sweetness, Virus: Extreme Contamination) for the soundtrack. Italian director and producer Domiziano Cristopharo also appears in this project as screenwriter.
The aforementioned actors were joined by Cleverson Rodrigues (P.O.E. 4: The Black Cat), Chiara Pavoni (Demonium, Xpiation, POE 4: The Black Cat), Francesco Giannotti, Mark Thompson Ashworth, and newcomer Alexio Coen, who plays the main character Jack in George Nevada's film.
The following is the plot, which is partly reminiscent of Suspiria, Murderock - Kills in stride and Carrie - The Look of Satan:
Jack (Alexio Coen), a stripper, enrolls in a new dance school but his presence immediately creates havoc and envy among his colleagues. On the day of the audition the young man is the victim of a prank as a result of which he loses his job. From that moment, one by one, his rivals will be atrociously murdered by a mysterious killer, and suspicion will inevitably fall on Jack.
