Director (The Burrowers, Hellbenders) and video game writer (Splinter Cell, Outlast) J.T. Petty returns to the director's booth for Appetite, a horror thriller for which he also edited the screenplay.
The film is currently in the casting stage while shooting is expected to start in early 2020.
According to reports from Deadline, Appetite is produced by David S. Goyer, the screenwriter of the trilogy on Batman by Christopher Nolan but also of several horror films (Blade, Freddy vs. Jason, The Never Born) as well as the recent sci-fi action Terminator - Dark Destiny.
The story of Appetite features a mother investigating her daughter's disappearance. Her desperate search will bring her up against inexplicable and terrible consequences.
