Circolo Gagarin, in collaboration with Dirty Tape Production, presents the B-Movie Grand Gala, a film night featuring the Italian premiere of The VelociPastor (USA, China - 2018), the priest-dinosaur horror comedy.

In apertura della serata inoltre, ci sarà la proiezione del corto horror natalizio Living Nativity Scene In the presence of director Lorenzo Fassina.
Plot of The VelociPastor: After losing his parents, young priest Doug Jones (Gregory James Cohan) moves to China. Here the clergyman will inherit a mysterious power that will enable him to transform himself into a ferocious dinosaur. A woman (Alyssa Kempinski) will convince him to harness his unusual ability by using it to fight crime and even ninjas.
The cast includes Gregory James Cohan, Alyssa Kempinski, Aurelius Voltaire, Nicholas M. Garofolo, Claire Hsu, Fernando Pacheco De Castro, Alec Lambert, Jesse Turits, Daniel Steere, Erik Oh, Jiechang Yang and Janice Young. The screenplay is by Brendan Steere.

Plot of Living Nativity Scene: Agave pricks herself while arranging the nativity scene. Drops of her blood fall on the Christmas figurines, and from that moment on, a neo-pagan couple is haunted by divine presences.
In the cast: Alice Pintus and Marco Battaglia. Director Lorenzo Fassina was also responsible for the screenplay of Living Nativity Scene. Marco Giangiarelli produced the film while the music is by Francesco Tresca.
