Only a few days remain until the new edition of theItalian Horror Fest, the cultural event to be held next month, from the Aug. 4 to 9, in the city of Neptune. Organized by Luigi Pastore (Lu.Pa. Film), this event is open to all and has among its media partners once again Rai Movie.
The well-known genre magazine Fangoria has reconfirmed its partnership with the festival but not only that. Chris Alexander, the magazine's editorial director, will present the European premiere of his new film Queen of Blood.
Many prominent names from the Italian horror scene, including Luigi Cozzi. The director and screenwriter's debut film will be screened. The tunnel under the world, Star Crash, Contamination, Hercules, The killer is forced to kill again but also the teaser trailer for his new work, a fantasy-horror currently being shot between Rome and Paris.
Guests also include Andrzej Żuławski, Polish director, who will present the Italian version of "Seven Little Films...". Also on the program of this edition of the festival is the full screening of his film Possession.
Also hosted by Paolo Ruffini, organizer of the Joe D'Amato Horror Festival And a fan of the horror genre.
President of the Jury for the competition reserved for short films is Umberto Lenzi, who together with Dario Argento will award the Best Feature Film. The Roman director is scheduled to screen Four gray velvet flies.
For fans of Luigi Pastore's cinema, an unmissable date on Thursday, August 7, when the trailer for his upcoming film will be screened at the Pro Loco Arena Violent Shit - The Movie.
Closing the program of theItalian Horror Fest, August 9, will be the Frizzi 2 Fulci, concert by Fabio Frizzi and his orchestra dedicated to the films of Lucio Fulci.
During the festival, space will be given to literature with Blood red ink, literary appointment curated by Antonio Tentori.
