Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first original teaser trailer, also in Italian, of It, the new adaptation of Stephen King's well-known novel (1986). The film, whose release date is set for Sept. 8, 2017 (thanks to Warner Bros. Pictures), is directed by Andy Muschietti, the director of The Mother.
In It, Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård (Hemlock Grove) is the terrifying clown, a role played by Tim Curry in the well-known 1990 two-episode TV miniseries. Joining him in the cast are Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween), Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Nicholas Hamilton, and Wyatt Oleff.
Plot: Children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, and some kids will be forced to confront their fears when an evil clown named Pennywise begins to torment them.
The screenplay for the new It is a collaboration of Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman. Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith, Dan Lin, David Katzenberg and Barbara Muschietti are the producers.
