Attached to this article are some new images of EN: Chapter Two, the film directed by Andrés Muschietti (The Mother, IT - 2017). EN: Chapter Two is the sequel to EN, the film adaptation of Stephen King's novel of the same name, and will see the light of day in Italian cinemas on Sept. 5, 2019, thanks to Warner Bros. Italy.
Compared to the first chapter in 2017, lasting about two and a quarter hours, EN: Chapter Two Instead, it will last more than 2 hours and 49 minutes.
As in the novel, in EN: Chapter Two the diabolical Pennywise returns nearly 30 years after being defeated by the Losers Club, ready to attack the new generation of Derry children.
Mike (Isaiah Mustafa) is the only member of the group left in Derry, and he will be the one to bring the other members of the Losers Club back to town to defeat Pennywise once and for all.
Young cast members seen in the 2017 film will be present in some scenes. Given the fast growth of some of them, the use of digital rejuvenation technology was necessary.
They complete the cast of EN: Chapter Two James McAvoy (plays Bill Denbrough), Bill Skarsgård (Pennywise), Jessica Chastain (Beverly Marsh), James Ransone (Eddie Kaspbrak), Bill Hader (Richie Tozer), Jay Ryan (Ben Hanscom), Will Beinbrink (Tom Rogan), Andy Bean (Stanley Uris), Isaiah Mustafa (Mike Hanlon), Xavier Dolan (Adrian Mellon), and Teach Grant (Henry Bowers).
The screenplay is by Gary Dauberman (Annabelle 3), who previously wrote the script for EN (2017).
