These days, Chilean director Patricio Valladares (Dirty Love, Hidden in The Woods) has released, online, the poster and trailer for his new film, Invoking Yell.
This is a horror mockumentary about black metal ready to hit the festival circuit.
The story of Invoking Yell takes place in 1997, in southern Chile, where a trio of 20-year-old metalheads venture into the woods to record a demo tape for their black metal band (Invoking Yell), insisting on psychophony (the phenomenon of electronic voices) for the final track.
The cast includes Maria Jesus Marcone, Macarena Carrere (Trauma) and Andrea Ozuljevich.
The screenplay is by Patricio Valladares himself in collaboration with Barry Keating while Vallastudio Films and Moral Bros Entertainment appear in the production.
Diego Moral Heimpell is the executive producer.
