The invisible man by Leigh Whannell (Insidious 3 - The Beginning, Upgrade) will arrive direct to home video starting July 22 thanks to Universal, which will distribute it in DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD formats.
As with other films, the Italian release (set for March 5) of the The invisible man was cancelled due to the Coronavirus emergency.
Produced by Jason Blum, this horror genre film is the modern adaptation of the H. G. Wells novel of the same name and reboot of the film adaptation directed by James Whale in 1933.
Ne The invisible man (Australia, USA - 2020) Elisabeth Moss is Cecilia Kass, a woman trapped in an oppressive romantic relationship with a rich and brilliant scientist from whom she one day decides to escape aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer), childhood friend (Aldis Hodge) and teenage daughter (Storm Reid).
When the man commits suicide, leaving her a generous portion of his fortune, Cecilia tries to rebuild her life, but strange events lead her to believe that her dangerous companion is not dead and has found a way to become invisible to continue tormenting her and driving her mad.
In addition to Elisabeth Moss (Girls Interrupted, Us), the cast also includes Storm Reid (In the Folds of Time), Harriet Dyer, Aldis Hodge (Die Hard - Die Hard, Edmond) and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.
