The official trailer for Into the Grizzly Maze (USA, Canada - 2014), a film directed by David Hackl (Saw V) for a screenplay by Guy Moshe and J.R. Reher, and centered on a killer bear. The title adds to the already full-bodied eco-vengeance strand devoted to killer animals and also to this splendid mammal ("Grizzly, the Killing Bear," "Grizzly Rage," "Grizzly Park," "Bear," "Backcountry"...). Into the Grizzly Maze will be released in U.S. theaters next June 26, while the date for video on demand is scheduled for May 19.
Officer Beckett's family has always protected the brown bear since it is endangered, but a series of murders and disappearances alarms the entire town, which blames a dangerous large specimen. The townspeople will hunt down the mammal to exterminate it but it will not be an easy mission for them. Among them is Officer Beckett who has lost track of his ecologist wife who went into the forest to protect the bear and then mysteriously disappeared.
The cast includes James Marsden, Scott Glenn, Piper Perabo, Thomas Jane, Billy Bob Thornton, Michaela McManus, Adam Beach, and Patrick Sabongui.
