A new international trailer for Shark - The First Shark (aka The Meg), the shark movie directed by John Turteltaub on a screenplay by James Vanderbilt. The film stars Jason Statham (here as a rescue expert) and will arrive in Italian theaters on August 9, 2018.
Shark - The First Shark (USA - 2018) is the film adaptation of the novel "MEG" written by Steve Alten in 1997.
Plot: An ocean-going submarine is attacked and damaged by a megalodon, a sizeable species of shark that, until then, was thought to be extinct. Now the vessel lies on the bottom of the Pacific with its crew trapped inside. A Chinese oceanographer (Winston Chao) recruits Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham), a diver and water rescue expert, to remedy the dire situation. Jonas will risk his own life to save the crew from the same predator with whom he clashed years earlier and of whom he still retains sad memories.
