Insidious 4: release date slipped

Initially set for October 20, 2017, the release date of Insidious: Chapter 4 has been moved to January 5, 2018. We remind you that the new film from Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures is directed by Adam Robitel, actor (2001 Maniacs) and director who wrote and directed the powerful demonic horror film in 2014. The Taking of Deborah Logan.

The screenplay for the fourth installment was entrusted to Leigh Whanell, who wrote the first three installments of the franchise and directed Insidious 3 while the film's producers include Jason Blum (The Purge, Get Out), Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity), and James Wan (director of the first two chapters of the saga, namely Insidious and Beyond the boundaries of evil: Insidious 2).
Steven Schneider, Charles Layton, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Bailey Conway Anglewicz, Couper Samuelson, and Leigh Whannell are the executive producers.

Confirmed in the cast of Insidious: The Last Key, Lin Shaye will once again play paranormal investigator Elise Rainer, who, in Robitel's film, will have to confront evil in her own home. In addition to her, Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannell will also return in this new chapter, playing Tucker and Specs respectively.
Also in the cast are Caitlin Gerard (Smiley), Josh Stewart (The Neighbor), Kirk Acevedo, Hana Hayes, Marcus Henderson, and Jerrika Hinton.
