Portola Pictures ha annunciato la data di release per l'horror Inheritance (USA - 2017). Il film sarà disponibile per il video on demand (iTunes e Amazon Instant Video) a partire dal 15 giugno. Scritto e diretto dall'esordiente Tyler Savage, Inheritance is a film in which the familiar story is seen as a kind of trap (both good and bad).
Nicholas Gonda (Tree of Life) is the film's executive producer while Drew Daniels (Krisha, It Comes At Night) handled the cinematography. The producers are J.P. Castel (Krisha), Dash Hawkins (Party Crashers) and Chase Joliet (It Comes at Night), who are also part of the cast along with Sara Montez, Kate Norby (House of the Devil), Dale Dickey, Drew Powell, Jim Ortlieb, Krisha Fairchild, Tim Abell, Nizhonniya Austin, Jim Bentley, Jake Carpenter, Alex Dobrenko, Murphy Dunne and Olympia Garcia.
Trama: Ryan Bowman (Chase Joliet) ha appena ereditato una lussuosa casa sulla spiaggia dal padre biologico, un uomo che non ha mai conosciuto e che pensava fosse morto da tempo. Arrivato in California insieme alla fidanzata incinta, Ryan si trasferisce nell'abitazione ereditata e, incuriosito, inizia a fare delle ricerche sul genitore. Le indagini lo porteranno ad allontanarsi dalla famiglia adottiva e anche dalla compagna. Infine, l'orribile verità sui suoi genitori gli cambierà per sempre la vita.
