As previously anticipated yesterday, today saw the release of the official trailer of Incident in a Ghost Land (France, Canada - 2018), the long-awaited supernatural horror film featuring French director Pascal Laugier (Saint Ange, Martyrs and Children of Cold Rock). Incident in a Ghost Land (aka Ghostland) mixes themes such as entities and madness. The film will enjoy an international release in March.
Colleen (Mylène Farmer) and her two daughters Beth (Crystal Reed) and Vera (Anastasia Phillips) inherit an aunt's house. Their first night in the home will be very tragic for the family because of the intrusion of some criminals. After that chilling experience, shy Beth and outgoing Vera will never be the same: their contrasting personalities will become more pronounced.
Sixteen years later, Beth is a successful writer and returns to the house where her mother and Vera still live. Unlike her sister, the latter has failed to start a family and has remained anchored in her paranoia and fears. Their reunion, however, will trigger a series of mysterious and chilling events.
In the cast of Incident in a Ghost Land: Mylène Farmer, Crystal Reed, Anastasia Phillips, Taylor Hickson, Emilia Jones, Paolo Bryant, Adam Hurtig, Alicia Johnston and Ernesto Griffith.
The film is produced by Jean-Charles Levy.
