In addition to Mexican rape&revenge. Blood For Flesh, the gory Slovenian slasher will also be available for home video in September. Idila (aka Idyll) thanks to TetroVideo, which will distribute it in the valuable Limited Edition Bookbox (DVD+Poster) with English, French and Italian subtitles.
Idila is directed by Tomaž Gorkič, a Slovenian director who, after a series of shorts shot between 2005 and 2014, makes his debut with this interesting feature film in which idyllic Slovenian locations provide the backdrop for a story steeped in horror and suffering. Also Idila is the first film in the horror genre to be produced and shot entirely in Slovenia.
Plot: After an evening spent with girlfriends, Zina (Nina Ivanišin) meets photographer Blitcz (Sebastian Cavazza), manager Dragica (Manca Ogorevc), and picky model Mia (Nika Rozman) for a photo shoot in the Slovenian wilderness. Upon arriving at the location they will make the unpleasant acquaintance of two less than hospitable rednecks.
