Midnight Factory has released two Italian trailers for Ice Cream Man, the new horror movie from Eli Roth, the filmmaker behind Cabin Fever and Hostel.
Co-written and co-produced by Roth, Ice Cream Man will open in Italian theaters on October 29, 2026.
Although it shares its title with the 1995 cult horror movie starring Clint Howard, Ice Cream Man is neither a remake nor a reboot, but an original story described as a "terrifying and insane" project.
Plot: The quiet suburban town of Bayleen Bay spirals into chaos when a mysterious ice cream man (Ari Millen) hands out frozen treats that turn children into ruthless killers.
The movie marks the first production from Roth's new venture, The Horror Section. According to the director, it begins as a 1970s/1980s-style comedy before gradually descending into horror, with dangerous children taking center stage.
The cast includes Ari Millen, Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, and Eli Roth. The original score is by Snoop Dogg.
