Actor and director Adam Gierasch will direct the horror thriller titled Casa sul lago for a screenplay by Josh Burnell.
The film has begun production in Big Bear Lake, California. Meanwhile, the first confirmed cast members have been announced: James Callis, Anne Dudek, Amiah Miller, and Michael Bowen.
In the production of Casa sul lago Mike De Trana (Anvil Entertainment), Gary King, and Jace Anderson are involved.
The protagonists of the story are the Morgans, a family hoping to enjoy a peaceful vacation. Problems arise when Miller, their ten-year-old autistic daughter, becomes convinced she has a friend. Whether real or imaginary, this mysterious figure causes the girl to retreat even further into her own world and close herself off from others. The consequences are not limited to the inevitable tensions that arise within the family.
