After directing a few episodes for TV series, actor and director Ben Young writes and directs Hounds of Love (Australia - 2016), a thriller with horror overtones about a pair of ruthless maniacs. The film, labeled "extremely violent," will see the light of day in U.S. theaters on May 12, 2017, at which time it will also be available for VOD.

Plot: Australia, 1980. John (Stephen Curry) and partner Evelyn (Emma Booth) are two psychopaths who kidnap and kill young women. Among the victims is Vicki (Ashleigh Cummings), a girl who, kidnapped by the couple, will suffer physical and psychological abuse from them. Despite the humiliation and torture inflicted, the young woman will try to survive by thinking of a way to escape from that oppressive captivity.
