Hospitality, misunderstandings and tension in Danish horror film Speak No Evil - Trailer and Poster

With IFC Midnight comes online the poster and trailer for. Speak No Evil (Denmark - 2022), the psychological horror film written and directed by Christian Tafdrup (Parents).
The film will debut in U.S. theaters on Sept. 9 and then arrive on Shudder on Sept. 15.
No Italian release date is currently available.

Plot: During a vacation in Tuscany, two families, one Danish and the other Dutch, befriend each other. a few months later, the Dutch family invites the Danish family to spend a weekend vacation together at their country home. Due to a series of misunderstandings, the situation gets out of hand and the Dutch hospitality and kindness quickly become unnerving for the Danes, who find themselves increasingly trapped in an increasingly sinister and suffocating situation.

The cast of Speak No Evil (aka Gæsterne) consists of Morten Burian, Fedja Van Huêt, Sidsel Siem Koch, Karina Smulders, Liva Forsberg and Marius Damslev.
The screenplay is by Christian Tafdrup himself in collaboration with his brother Mads Tafdrup (A Horrible Woman).
