Written and directed in 2010 by Wes Craven (The Hills Have Eyes, Nightmare - From the Deep End of the Night, The Black House), My Soul To Take - The Soul Hunter è the story of a serial killer who returns to his hometown to torment seven 16-year-olds who share the same birth date.
The cast includes Max Thieriot, John Magaro, Zena Grey, Denzel Whitaker, Nick Lashaway, Paulina Olszynski, Emily Meade, Jeremy Chu, Raúl Esparza, and Jessica Hecht.
The Void - The Void (link to review) is a Canadian horror film written and directed by Jeremy Gillespie (Inferno of the Dead, Father's Day) and Steven Kostanski ("W is for Wish" segment in ABCs of Death 2) in 2017.
In The Void, police officer Daniel Carter (Aaron Poole) rescues and accompanies to the hospital an injured man recovered from the street. Inside the hospital facility, however, almost all the patients and even the staff are undergoing a horrible mutation. Terrified, the policeman will try to escape from that hell along with the few survivors.
The cast includes Aaron Poole, Stephanie Belding, Ellen Wong, Kathleen Munroe, Kenneth Welsh, Evan Stern, Amy Groening, Art Hindle, Trish Rainone, Daniel Fathers, and Grace Munro.
Directed by Tikhon Kornev on a screenplay he coauthored with Aleksey Karaulov and Evgeniy Kolyadintsev, Diggers (Russia - 2016) is a fantasy-horror whose story takes place in a subway (link to movie review).
Plot: l's last train disappears into Moscow's underground tunnels, not allowing its passengers to disembark. The authorities try to hush it up but to no avail. Armed with courage, some boys reach the subway to try to find out what happened to their friends. Here, however, they will find something unexpected and horrible.
In the cast of Diggers appear Roman Evdokimov, Alena Savastova, Andrey Levin, Anna Vasileva, Din Fan, Mariya Schekaturova and Vladimir Kuznetsov.
