The ironic zombie comedy Hope (Norway - 2017) is Official Selection at the DarkVeins Horror Fest 2017 for the Best Short Film category.
The short film is directed by Adam Losurdo, who co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Stival. The director has two other short films in the horror genre behind him viz. Shifter and Flicker.
Karl (Herman Ljung Opedal) is a harmless zombie who roams the city suffering mistreatment by hateful humans. When everything seems to sink into nothingness, here comes a little hope born of death that blossoms in a world without values to restore smiles to those who have lost them and to make hearts beat again.
The cast includes: Herman Ljung Opedal, Tor Andre Andreassen, Line Beck, Tonje Brattås, Felin Hellseggå, Joe Pike, and Kristine Østberg.
