È has just been released the official trailer for Sun Choke (USA-2015), the psychological horror thriller written and directed by Ben Cresciman that we told you about a few days ago (Sun Choke: the official poster for the film starring Barbara Crampton). Il film sarà distribuito quest'estate grazie a XLrator Media. Dal 2 agosto infatti sarà disponibile sia per il VOD che per il formato DVD, oltre ad avere una distribuzione limitata anche nelle sale americane a partire dal 5 agosto.
Trama: in seguito a un atteggiamento psicotico, Janie (Sarah Hagan) è seguita sin dalla tenera età da Irma (Barbara Crampton), sua tata e custode a vita che la cura con la medicina olistica. Grazie al supporto e all'aiuto della donna, lo stato di salute mentale della giovane sembra migliorare giorno dopo giorno, fino a quando però Janie non sviluppa una profonda ossessione per una certa Savannah (Sarah Malakul Lane). La ragazza si sente così legata alla nuova figura femminile che la sua mente, già labile, inizia nuovamente a vacillare fino a farla precipitare nel baratro della follia.
