Some photos from the set of Hocus Pocus 2, the sequel to Hocus Pocus (1993), the cult fantasy comedy genre film about the three Sanderson sisters, the wicked witches Winifred, Mary, and Sarah, played by Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker, respectively.
Hocus Pocus 2 will be released in time for Halloween 2022 on Disney+.
Produced by Adam Shankman, Hocus Pocus 2 is written by Jen D'Angelo and features Anne Fletcher as director.
Alongside the original actresses, the sequel will also feature Tony Hale, Hannah Waddingham, Sam Richardson, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo,Whitney Peak (The Terrifying Adventures of Sabrina), Doug Jones (The Faun's Labyrinth, The Shape of Water), Froy Gutierrez, Juju Brener, Taylor Henderson and Nina Kitchen.
Directed in 1993 by Kenny Ortega for Walt Disney Pictures, Hocus Pocus stars Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson, three witches from 1700s Salem who are accidentally re-enacted. The three hags will cast a spell on the town to regain their youth but must contend with three young boys and a talking cat.
