Disney+ has released, online, a new clip from Hocus Pocus 2, a comedy film directed by Anne Fletcher from a script penned by Jen D'Angelo.
The release date has been set for tomorrow, September 30, on Disney+.
Hocus Pocus 2 is the sequel to Hocus Pocus (1993), Kenny Ortega's cult film about the three Sanderson sisters, the wicked witches Winifred, Mary, and Sarah (played by Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker, respectively) of 1700s Salem.
Plot of Hocus Pocus 2: It has been 29 years since someone lit the Candle of the Black Flame and resurrected the sisters on Halloween night 1693. Now it's up to three high school girls to stop the vengeful hags from wreaking new havoc in Salem before dawn on All Hallow's Eve.
In addition to the aforementioned actresses from the first installment, Doug Jones (The Faun's Labyrinth, The Shape of Water) also appears in the sequel, the latter again as Billy Butcherson, a beloved character from the 1993 film.
Completing the cast are Tony Hale, Hannah Waddingham, Sam Richardson, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Whitney Peak (The Terrifying Adventures of Sabrina), Juju Brener, Taylor Henderson, and Nina Kitchen.
